Marty, an ordinary 11-year-old boy, suddenly becomes the human extension of the Fist of Eon, gaining amazing fighting powers. With the evil General's dark armies in pursuit of his newfound weapon, Marty has supernatural adventures and, along the way, meets two friends: Ally, a big target for the evil forces, and mysterious Gaff, who can help him understand his new powers and uncover secrets from the past.

This is one of the most beautiful and mysterious shorts committed to film. Visuals are more like a moving painting than anything else I've seen. There are certainly elements of films like City of Lost Children in there, but taken to another level. Visually only Casshern comes close to this, for sheer depth of vision. It just shows you what is possible for people to achieve with some imagination. Too many film makers seem to want to use digital effects to create the most realistic looking sets/ extras/ stunts, when they should be concentrating on making it look as interesting as possible.

Inspired by Jorge Luis Borges’ The Disinterested Killer Bill Harrigan, Garoto follows a young couple who find themselves in an enchanted place where they experience an amorous and spiritual adventure.

Hal Hartley's senior thesis film from SUNY-Purchase. A young man attempts to leave his Long Island suburb, but is thwarted by a series of absurd obstacles.

Hana, Bazo, Maja, and David have always been inseparable. But as they approach thirty, their paths begin to diverge. Hana gets married, Bazo goes to work in Canada, and Maja moves in with her boyfriend. In David's life, however, nothing changes, and he himself isn't sure whether or not that's a good thing. He would certainly be better equipped to face his problems among friends rather than in lonely isolation. Using the naturally charismatic David as example, this energetic, subtly ironic film comments on the void that often grows between the world of carefree partying and the settled life of adulthood, a reality that takes some people by surprise.

I young man (the 'Kid') returns to the small town where his parents were murdered when he was a boy. He's there for revenge. Locals Kate and Louie befriend him, much to the annoyance of some of the town folk.

Big Boy, the charming little scoundrel wearing adult rags and boots was already performed by child actor Malcolm Sebastian at the age of two. As a child Big Boy’s fame went global, but could not likely maintain at adolescence.
